Westwood State School is surrounded by well-tended gardens and has recently-painted buildings.
Our school consists of two air-conditioned teaching blocks. The main building houses the classroom, principal's office, administration office and staff room. A new library has also been built stocked with teaching resources, instruments and shelves of books.
There is also a tennis/basketball court, tuckshop, sports shed and an amenities block which are maintained to a high standard. Our classrooms are well equipped with students having a range of different Information communication technology (ICT) including two interactive whiteboards, a bank of iPads in sync to apple tv, digital cameras, laptops for each student and interactive television screen.
